Machine Shop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Machine Workshop Supervisor, who will be required to coordinate and work collaboratively with the planning and production of the team to deliver excellence to customers through innovation, quality, and compliance. A key driver to the overall success of UEM, the Machine Workshop Supervisor will have the ability to drive continual improvement and innovation, with a hunger for growth and passion for new technology.

Skills required include: Trade certificate, high attention to detail, demonstrate understanding of quality management systems under ISO 9001 and experience in supervision

CNC Machinist

Our Machining shop operates 7 days per week and we can offer flexible work arrangements including even time roster.

We are seeking an experienced machinist to join our team operating the latest CNC technology. You will be working within a progressive engineering company that manufactures for a variety of industries. You will be required to set and run machines and be responsible for the overall operation of the machine, it’s productivity and the standard of work produced. As a machinist you will have a high regard for quality and safety and understand the importance of following company policies and procedures to maintain this standard.

Skills required include: Experience on CNC machines, trade certificate, time management skills, high regard for safety, good attention to detail, ability to follow quality processes.

Apprenticeship - Machinist

We are excited to be able to offer a Certificate III in Engineering apprenticeship in machining. Throughout your apprenticeship we will provide you with mentoring, training, and support to learn and develop your new skills. you will learn a variety of different skills including machining, mechanical fitting, milling, and programming along with setting the latest multi axis CNC lathes and Machining Centres.

Skills required include: Above average aptitude to all things mechanical, have an eye for detail and accuracy, completed Year 12, with passes in Math & English and be punctual and reliable.

Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator

We require an experienced boilermaker to join our team. You will be working within a progressive engineering company manufacturing structural and high end componentry for a variety of industries.

Flexible work arrangements including part time, full time and casual positions.

Skills required include: Excellent fabrication skills and drawing comprehension, good time management skills, high regard for safety, high quality workmanship with good attention to detail, ability to follow quality processes and ability to pass wel test FCAW 4F, 4G.

CAD/CAM Draftsperson

With the company growing we have a new opportunity for a draftsperson or programmer to join the team.
We are seeking a CAD designer with 3D modelling and 2D drafting skills using the latest Solidworks and Mastercam software.

Skills required include: good attention to detail, ability to follow quality processes and the ability to liaise with technicians and engineers to produce drawings.
