UEM is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Gladstone, Queensland.

Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator
UEM is seeking experienced Boilermakers, Welders, and Fabricators to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland.
Working from our modern manufacturing facility, you’ll be involved in a variety of fabrication and welding projects across industries including mining, energy, oil & gas, defence, and heavy industry.

About the Role
- Fabrication and welding of medium to heavy components
- Read and interpret workshop drawings
- Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding
- Work safely and efficiently within a team environment
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to pass a weld test (FCAW 4F & 4G minimum)
CAM PROGRAMMER
UEM is seeking a motivated CAM Programmer to join our growing team in Gladstone, Queensland.
Working within our modern manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in supporting machining operations by developing efficient and accurate CNC programs for a range of precision components across industries including mining, energy, defence, oil & gas, and heavy industry.
This role is suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for advanced manufacturing and CNC technology.
About the Role
- Develop and optimise CAM programs for CNC machining operations
- Interpret technical drawings and customer specifications
- Support machining operations with program improvements and technical assistance
- Work closely with machinists and production teams to improve efficiency and quality
- Ensure programs meet production, quality, and safety requirements
Skills & Experience
- Experience in CAM programming within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience with CAM software and CNC programming required
